What Causes Dizziness While On Glipizide And Metformin?
I am a recently diagnosed diabetic...type 2. Taking 10 MG Glipizide and 250 MG Metformin in am and 5mg Glipizide and 250mg Metformin in pm. Metformin added 4 months after Glipizide started. Now have dizziness and gastro problems. Am 5 months the post stroke and the dizziness is interfering with relearning to walk. The Metformin is the only change in medication prior to the problems. What alternatives might I have to Metformin? Thank you.
you need to monitor your blood sugar levels and see if Metformin is really required. as recent studies suggest it is better to avoid Metformin and You history of stroke strongly suggest you could be having high blood pressure and kidney problems as well which included turn states Metformin is better avoided.
