Can Metoprolol Tartrate 50 Milligrams Cause Speech Slurring?
I am an 51 year old black women. I have been diagnosed of having high blood pressure prescribed to take Metotrolol Tartrate 50 milligrams twice a day, this is causing server speech slurring. My blood pressure is always 159/95 . Why haven t I received any information regarding my condition

Metoprolol is a good drug for hypertension and it does not cause any slurring of speech. There can be another reason for that which needs to be evaluated by clinical examination.
