Can Metoprolol Be Taken Twice A Day Along With Amlodipine?

my blood pressure was 197/89 and was ordered 10mg of Amlodipine Besylate. My b/p lowered to 164/85, I took my regular scheduled med of metoprolol a hour later. I am told to continues my regular scheduled meds of 25mg of the Metoprolol twice daily white adding this new one, I am afraid of lowering too low.

Good day and thank you for posting this question. Yes, you should continue your normal schedule of drugs. No, it won't be too low, just make sure you check your blood pressure regularly and visit your doctor at the next appointment.
