Can Metrogyl Denta Gel Be Used To Treat Chronic Gingivitis?
can we swallow saliva while having the metrogyl denta gel. I had it imported from sri lanka as i could not have it in the UK. is it okay to use it every day. I think I have gingevitis and pus discharge from gum and it gives a bad smell. my gum is also melting. what do you think about me using the gel and i also want some advice.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms you are suffering from Infection in the gums leading to pus formation.. You can apply Metrogyl gel but the Saliva should be spitted out.. As you want advice I would like to tell you that only application of the antimicrobial gel is not enough and you should consult a Dentist and get evaluated and get a thorough Scaling done followed by antibiotics and painkillers and application of antimicrobial paste and mouthwash.. Chew a Vitamin C pellet daily for 15 days.. Do warm saline gargles..
Hope this information helps..
