Can Mirena IUD Cause Any Side Effects?

So, I haven t had sex in about 4 months. It was unprotected but I have a Merena IUD. I felt completely fine the entire tine, although one day, about a month ago, I feel this crazy weird pain and shallow breathing that then followedup with me throwing up. All liquid. Completely random. The pain stopped after I threw up so I didn t go to the doctors. Now, within the last two weeks, I ve felt slight movements in my stomach. All over. Not so much in my pelvic area though. Also, I ve been getting like nerve twitches on my stomach too. I can t feel that much from the outside though. But I am a larger woman. I ve also been spotting but I have the whole time I ve had a Merena. I ve also gained a lot of weight quickly and have been craving junk food beyond the norm. Like I say no sometimes. I took 2 home pregnancy tests and they came back negative but my instincts keep telling me I m pregnant and I m starting to think I m crazy. I know I need to go to the doctor but I would like an opinion.

I really appreciate your concern, pain may be due to IUD or may not be and to differentiate this clinical examination and tests are necessary, in my opinion you can try Tab Ibuprofen 200 mg three times in day on tentative basis else it is nothing to worry, if the symptoms persist then better to get done the ultrasonography test this will rule out the pregnancy too hope this information help.
