Can Misoprostol Be Taken During Pregnancy To Stop Vaginal Bleeding?

I am pregnant this is 1 and half month but from yesterday I got bleeding like in normal periods I co nsulted to my family gynecologist he told has given misoprostol tablets my question is shall I take that may I not sustain this baby I am taking bed rest please tell me

hi you cannot take misoprostol if you want to continue the pregnancy. it is an abortifacients drug.you have to be on complete bed rest no intercourse no lifting heavy weight . start tab susten 200 mg twice a day and inj proluton depot 500 mg weekly as these drugs will provide additional support to the pregnancy. also get an ultrasound done to see whether the pregnancy is viable or not . take care and all the best.
