Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am on a low dosage diuretic and recently have had my orthopedic doctor recommend Mobic for my bad knee. Trying to avoid knee replacement for now. I am worried about the interactions with the Mobic and my diuretic. Also, the prolonged use of anti-inflammatory causes me concern. What are the possible reactions and/or problems associated with these things?

Hi,
You can take both. Just increase fluid intake. Take painkiller for a maximum of 2 weeks and then give break for 2 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
