Can Mometasone Furoate Cream Be Used To Treat Itching And Cuts In Vagina With Burning During Urination?
Hi I have a question. I have had intercourse with my boyfriend and the next day my vagina was itching, later did I know that there were cuts inside that I obviously could not see but I knew there were cuts inside because I was in pain but at the same time was itchy. When I pee it burns. It happened inside the lips not outside on my vagina. Can I use mometasone furoate cream?

HI, Mometasone is a corticosteroid preparation having effect on inflamed/itchy skin. It gets absorbed from the site of application & has systemic adverse effects. So it should be used only for the condition it was prescribed for. In your case you had cuts, itch,& pain too. In case there is no relief you should go for antibiotic/anti fungal cream & withdraw Mometasone cream Consult a doctor if there is no relief within a couple of days. Thanks
