Can Monistat Taken For UTI Infection Cause Swelling And Pain In The Vagina?

My daughter has a horrible UTI infection that was diagnosed 2 days ago and was given a mild antibiotic. It only got worse. Some itching was occurring last night, so she inserted one Monistat 3. this morning she woke up in horrible pain and very swollen down there. Her doctor told her to go see a gynecologist. He also prescribed a much higher dosage for her UTI now that those results came in from the other day. We went to the gynecologist, he looked at her and told her she had herpes. He took a swab and gave her a phamplet to read. Could it be possible that she just had a bad reaction to the Monistat?

first of all i would like to tell you that the Monistat 3 tablet is anti fungal tablet that is usually inserted in the vagina and helps in the in the control of symptoms of burning micturition and itching in the vagina. Probably there is a history of sexual contact and you have to ask your daughter by taking her into confidence
and and get the further investigation done . Do that the further line of treatment can be decided 'Dont worry , but go to the doc immediately with your . Take care
