Can Monocef Be Taken During The First Trimester Of Pregnancy?

Hi sir, Taking antibiotic monocef-0* 200 is safty during 2nd month of pregnency. My doctor sugested me to take 5 days this tablet and also given recofast tablet for cold.. Has im suffering from cold nd headache from one week doctor checked and said its an infection and suggested these tablets.. Im taking these tablets but my frnds suggest that antibiotic shdnt be taken while pregnancy.. Please reply as im confused nd tensed. Thanks, Ananya

Hello dear. Monocef is probably safe to take during pregnancyre. Recofast is not an antibiotic but anticongestivant and is not safe to take in pregnancy. Try stop it and use a topic decongestivant in in form of a nasal spry. Best regards.
