Can Montair Lc And Ambrodil Syrups Be Continued For Persistent Cough In A Child?
My 3 and half year old son is getting cough from 6 months. I have given him montair lc syrup and ambrodils syrup for 15 days as suggested by doctor.he was also relieved by these medicines but again he s coughing vigorously at night time.should i continue that medicine.if yes, then for how long, plz answer me.

Your child seems to suffer from a condition like bronchial asthma. it is possible narrowing of smaller airways due to hypersensitivity, your child needs evaluation for childhood asthma and if so, he needs to be treated appropriately with bronchodialators and some times steroids
