Is it safe for me to take daily?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Montelukast should be considered to take for around 3-4 weeks period till the acute allergy symptoms are controlled. Later on, it should be used as and when required only, not on regular basis.
Instead of that , you must focus on avoiding the triggering factors as pollen, passive smoke and others.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
