Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello there. I changed the formula for my son from nan 1 to nan 2. He has had nan since birth with no issues. I have noticed that his intake has hind down and his stools are very soft, not loose. I have started him on rice dal puréed which eats well. Should I change the formula back to nan 1.
As per my clinical experience, the NAN supreme is partially hydrolized formula from cow's milk. * The NAN 1 is meant to give to newborn up to 6 months of age * Nan 2 is formulated to give to 6 months to 1 year child while on supplemental food stuffs * It is inappropriate to switch back from NAN 2 to NAN 1, however a detailed discussion should be carried out with his pediatrician for further guidelines and care.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
