Can Neo-Penotran Be Taken During Pregnancy?
Hi. Wany,I am 8 weeks pregnant and it s my first pregnancy. My Ob told me that i have a white discharge and my OB gave me Neo PENOTRAN Once a day for 7 days, while searching the MIMS i learned that it was contraindicated during first trimester, I have taken the meds for 1 and I m hesitant if I should continue taking the medication or should I stop?

Neopentran is a brand name of metronidazole and is not safe in pregnancy. So it is better to aviit early in the pregnancy.
