Can Neocell Super Collagen+C Be Taken While Breastfeeding An Infant?
Morning doctor, I m breastfeeding mom. My girl now 17 month old. I want to ask can i consume super collagen + C from neo cell? I have problem with my nail and hair loss. Ingredients : Calories, sodium, protein from collagen 6g, vitamin C 60mg Other ingredients : May contain vegetable magnesium stearate
Neocell Super Collagen + C is composed mainly of collagen type 1 and 3, which is a complex structural protein that maintains strength and flexibility throughout the body.
It contains bioactive collagen which supports healthy collagen formation in the body.
It would be better to avoid taking such medications during pregnancy and lactation as there is no proper scientific evidence to prove or disprove its effects in fetus or infants.
You can take them as required following discontinuing breastfeeding.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
