Hi,

Yes, it can be taken safely during pregnancy. Based on the history you seem to be having overweight for which your doctor has prescribed Neodipar. Neodipar (Metformin) is basically used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. However it can also be used for the management of metabolic and reproductive abnormalities associated with polycystic ovary disease and obesity. It helps in improving glucose metabolism in body and hence can be continued with close monitoring of body weight and blood sugar levels.

Hope these answer your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you best of your health.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
