Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have read that muscle twitching is an unusual side effect of Neurontin. Is it possible for the twitching to become permanent? Is magnesium a good treatment if someone wants to stay on the medication? Dose of magnesium? Also - can Neurontin withdrawal cause seizures in someone without a history of a seizure?

Can Neurontin Withdrawal Cause Seizures?
Hello, Neurontin can cause muscle twitching, jerky movements and tremors. It can t cause seizures and is used to treat seizures. You may use magnesium and vitamin B complex to help with muscle contractions. Consult your neuropsychologyst to lower it s dosage. Hope I have answered your query.
