I am currently taking neurotin for nerve pain. Can I also take Zonegran too? I was prescribed Zonegran before for migrains, but had a reprieve from them, so I stopped taking Zonegran. Since then I was prescribed Neurontin for nerve pain, but now my migraines are back.
Neurontin (Gabapentin) is one of the safest medicines around. My personal belief is that it is safer than acetaminophen. It can be taken with any other medicine (except for other forms of Neurontin or Pregabalin) but one needs to be careful with narcotics due to the drowsiness. For a quick answer, yes the two medicines, Zonegran (zonisamide) and Neurontin can be taken together.
