Can Nexplanon Implant Lead To Heavy Bleeding During Periods?

I got the Nexplanon implant two days ago. I started my period yesterday like I was supposed to. Today I have been bleeding heavily and I have bled through three tampons. Is it because of the Nexplanon implant or is this just a heavy period? Normally I don t believe very heavily.

Hi, I think it can be your normal periods or can be due to nexplanon. You can take some medicines like Tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. If it is due to nexplanon, it will go away with time.
