Can Niacor Be Taken Instead Of Lovaza For Elevated Triglycerides?

my doctor and insurance provider are tryng to find replacement medication for elevated trygliceride . I was taking fenofibrate 160 with severe leg cramps and doctor prescribed lovaza as replacement . Insurance provider said no to lovaza and wanted me to try niacor. Should i listen to insurance or doctor. I am 56 year male taking lisinopril , zetia, fish oil daily in good health accept slight elevation with BP and colesterol. Blood sugar boderline. 5-11 tall 195 lbs Thanks Tyler
