Can Nyquil Alter The Reading Of A Home Pregnancy Test?

I had sex on 1/3 and acccording to my period tracker I was fertile. My cycle was supposed to start on 1/20, but it hasn t as of today. I spotted on 1/16 with the cramps, breast tenderness, all signs of my cycle starting. But here it is 1/21 and nothing. I took a pregnancy test this morning, with the first morning urine, and the test was positive. I am also having issues with sinus drainage, in which I took some Nyquil last night. Two questions: Am I really pregnant? OR can Nyquil alter the reading?

Hi, I have gone through your question. If your urine pregnancy test is positive, then you are definitely pregnant. Nyquil syrup contains promethazine and dextromethorphan which have not been found to be teratogenic in low doses.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated.
