Can Ofaquin M And Race X Be Given To A Child Instead Of OFM And Neopeptine For Constant Constipation And Hard Stools?
My daughter is 2 years 2months old. From birth she has a tendecy of constipation. She excrete very hard solid stool but everyday. She never drank milk from outside or baby food. From 7 month she had only home madefood and she still feeds my milk. 2weeks before she had soft green potty 3times a day (small amount) accompanied with feaver. Doctor suggested me OFM and neopeptine.after giving 1day she was ok and i stopped her medicine. Again hard stool. Today again she had soft potty twice (mucous type) twice. Since her doctor is out of station i reffered another doctor who prescribed me ofaquin-M and race-X . I am totally confused which one to give. Did i did a mistake by not giving Ofm for 5 days. Why did it repeated.which nmedicine should i give. Should i continue d medicine even potty becomes normal in 1 days. Thanking you Soma mondal Orissa
constipation is a sign that diet lacks fluids and fibre. and no toilet training. so increase fluids like tender coconut water , congee, watermelon juice, sprouted pulses, fresh fruits. encourage her to sit on the potty stool every morning irrespective of wetther she passes stools for fifteen minutes. regarding medicines get back to your doctor
