Hi I took the morning after pill about 6 weeks ago, I was about 3 weeks late on my period. Once I got my period I started Ovranette on day 1. Since my period ended I have had brown discharge. It s been about 2/3 weeks now..is this from my period being late or side effects/ hormones from the pill? I had previously been on Ovranette with no issues.
I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.
Your delayed periods may be due to the pills your are taking. Actually birth control pills are advantageous with few side effects . It includes, Spotting inbetween periods, Breast tenderness, weight gain, Nausea, Mood changes etc.
Missed periods is slight common with the pills, which will reduce within few months of taking tablets. If still persists, consult your near by gynaecologist for help.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
