Can Oxycodone Be Taken With Quetiapine For Extreme Pain?

My husband hasn t been able to sleep much at all for 3 weeks because of extreme pain. Nothing seems to help. The doc just prescribed quetiapine but it hasn t done a thing for him. When in the hospital with the recent stroke that doctor had him take oxycodone, but it wasn t renewed by his family doctor. Can he take the oxycodone since he has the queiapine in his system--about 5 hrs ago?
