Can PPI Cause Elevated Chromogranin A Levels In Blood?
My wife is scheduled for a CT scan of her abdomen next week. He MD advised her to stop taking her PPI for a week before her test. Her chromogranin A level is at 525ml so the doctor wants to make sure that the PPI is not artificially contributing to these elevated levels. My question is: are Tums not considered PPI?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, PPI is stand for Proton pump inhibitor and the way works the molecules is pretty complex so it is highly advisable to follow the physician's advise hope this information helps.
