Can Pantocid-IT CAP Be Taken For Stomach Pain?

MY DOCTOR HAS PRESCRIBED PANTOCID IT CAP 40MG WHEN I APPROACHED HIM WITH PAIN IN MY STOMACH AFTER SOME TESTS HE HAS SUGGESTED THAT I HAVE TO UNDERGO LAZER SURGERY FOR REMOVING GALL BLADDER STONE AND WHEN THEY REMOVE STONE THEY HAVE TO REMOVE GALL BLADDER ITSELF. IS IT ADVISABLE TO REMOVE GALL BLADDER AND WHAT IS THE USE OF THIS CAP MANY THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE

See , Pantocid _IT is given for treating Hyperacidity or Gastritis. You doctor had initially suspected Hyperacidity or Gastritis as the cause of your abdominal pain and hence he has prescribed that medicine.

But after doing a scan ( I hope a scan was done ) He has diagnosed as Stones In your Gall Bladder as the cause of your abdominal pain. For this condition Pantocid-IT will not be of much help.

For Gall bladder stones surgical removal of whole gall bladder is the right treatment. Kindly go ahead and get it done.
