Can Pause MF Be Taken To Prevent Heavy Menstruation?

hi doctor, i m nandini ,Its my first day of period. I am going out station tomorrow n journey is of 12 hours. By bus in the nnight.Its not heavy bleeding started yet. Should i take Pause MF tomorrow night to prevent heavy bbleeding in travelling... and how mmany ttimes.. Thank you..

Hello,

You are advised to take enough sanitary napkins. It is good that the journey is about 12 hours.

You can take Pause MF but not before the bleeding starts. If bleeding starts during your journey (you are advised to put on the napkin), you can understand, then only, start having to Pause MF.

I repeat Pause MF not to be taken before bleeding, there will no effects rather, side effects may be there.

If bleeding starts, please take 500mg (not more), 3 times a day, every after 8 hours, do not make it less than 8 hours.

Any more question, please ask. There is also a need to see why heavy menstruation is present. Please do USG Lower abdomen after you come back.
