Can Pediasure Cause Abdominal Cramps?

My 1 y.o. sin started drinking pediasure 48 hours ago as advised by his pediatrician due to him being underweight. He received his 1 year shots at the same visit that she recommended this. He has been extremely irritable ever since. He can be playing and then start screaming like he is in pain. It passes and then he is fine. This has been going on all day. He is also teething. Can the pediasure be causing stomach pain?

Dear friend,I have read your question and I believe drinking Pediasure can be the reason of his pain and irritation.basically in this type of formula foods there are various lactose compounds which sometimes causes abdominal pain and bloating.also you are saying this episode of pain is happening on all day after taking pediasure.so i sincerely believe you should stop giving him pediasure and switch to different food supplement.my best wishes for your little one.thank you.
