Hi I have a 16 month old daughter with cerebral palsy. She has trouble gaining weight and about 2 months ago her nutritionist prescribed her Pediasure. She has been drinking it since then and has been fine but the past few days she has been throwing up in the evenings. She is fine with breakfast and her late morning bottle. When she has her afternoon bottle she throws up less then an hour later, throws up her supper and her bedtime bottle. Could the Pediasure be causing this?
Hii , Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here
Pediasure is normally belongs to age group of 2 - 10 years , and as your daughter is still under 2 years of age she might not be able to tolerate it as her stomach and intestines are still developing and may not absorb few complex protein or supplement
however some babies can tolerate these product at 15 -16 months but every child is different and i would like to suggest you to discuss it with your pediatrician ,he may replace it with some other well tolerable product or may alter the way u r feeding it
I hope it help Thanks again
