Can Penicillin Be Taken For Dry Cough?

i dont have allergy with penicillin. i took penicillin as prescribed by doctor for my tonsilitis. the swap test resulted to negative strep infection and stop me from continuing the medicine. at that time i have cough but didt prescribe cough syrup. can i continue my antibiotics because i still have dry cough ?

I don't think you need to take antibiotics for dry cough. If it is persistent and makes discomfort then I suggest you take Syp for dry cough like Ascoril D.
