Can Penidure Injection Be Taken During Pregnancy?
I am 8 months pregnant. I had a breathing problem a lot. So I have done BMV (Ballon mitral volvotomy) last week. My MVA size was 0.9 CM2 only before BMV, now it is 1.35 CM2, is this sufficient for my normal delivery? . Doctor suggested me injection penidure 12 lac after every 21 days. I am 8 month pregnant. is there any side effect of this ?

As per information you provided your MVA size is significantly improved by BMV and that should be good enough for you
however Mode of delivery can be a Normal or C section and will be depend upon the condition and progress at the time of delivery itself
Panidure 12 Lac is a Penicillin G injection , which doctor has prescribed you to prevent any infection after the procedure because there are chances of bacterial endocarditis and this is a lethal condition
Your Doc may have also prescribe it To prevent infection in newborn baby
and it is a safe drug and wont cause any harm to your Baby so this is good choice of drug and there is nothing wrong in this
finally i would strongly suggest you to consult openly with your Doc about any doubt regarding treatment and medicine
