Can Pentaxim Be Given In Place Of Pentavac To An Infant?

My baby is 1 and 6 month old and at a stage of vaccination of booster dose DPT.i have given Pentavac medicine in previous stage which caused fever nd pain for him. Now pentaxim is freely available and can I give him pentaxim instead of pentavac as booster dose?

Hello,

Booster doses should be given at correct time ,for the protection of certain infections .If Pentaxim vial contains the same combination as Pentavac vaccine, no harm in giving as booster dose.
