Can Phenergan Suppositories Cause Discoloration In Stool?

My wife has been taking phenergan suppositories for two weeks for pregnancy-related hyperemesis. She reports clay-colored stools the entire time. I know this is a possible side effect, but her doctor informed her that she could take this medication up to two weeks before her delivery. Is this side effect any reason for concern in the short or long-term for her or the fetus?

Clay-colored stool is due to using Phenergan suppository.
Phenergan is safe for use in pregnancy. it will not cause any long-term effects.
