My period started on the 21 of september and lasted for 4 days . On sept 27 I took plan b step one a couple hours I had unprotected intercourse. On the Oct 1st I had unprotected intercourse again , and on the 2 of October I had a period that I m still having on day 5 , within those period days we had unprotected intercourse. Today is day 5 and still bleeding thinking maybe it s the side effects from my plan b . Is it possible I am pregnant , I ve been having very light diahierra and feeling tired which that doesn t happen the first day of my regular period
Hello dear I understand your concern Plan B contain high progesterone and cause menstrual irregularity. Chance of the pregnancy is less as you did sex in the safe period of the cycle. Your bleeding on the 2nd october is due to side effect of the plan B pill as it cause breakthrough bleeding due to progesterone withdrawal. Tiredness and diarrhea is also due to side effect of the pill. Your next period may be delayed by 8-10 days. If your period will delay by more than 12 days then think about the pregnancy. Take rest, drink plenty of water, eat healthy diet, and take more fiber in diet. Hope this may help you
