Can Plavix Be Retaken With Xarelto To Prevent Pain In The Leg?
I AM WAS ON TWO BLOOD THINNERS PLAVIX & XARELTO.I PASS OUT,WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND THE DR. PUT ME ON XARELTO AT THE TIME,BUT I HAVE BEEN HAVING PAIN IN MY LEG .DO I NEED TO GO BACK TO BOTH BLOOD THINNERS? if so do i take them both together in the morning.
Xarelto and Plavix both are blood thinner. They are mostly used not in combination and it increases the risk of bleeding howe'ver many times using them both may have more advantage. So many times we use them in combination like in peripheral arterial disease are heart disease. So yes you can use both but take care to urgently report any bleeding. You can take them once a day at any time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
