Can Postinor Prevent Pregnancy?

Hi there Doctor, I have type 2 diabetes and currently taking metformin. I had unprotected intercourse just lastnight as my partner wants to get me pregnant. I am not ready for another child just yet. Will taking postinor this morning affect me in any way as I am also taking metformin and reclide?

Hello,

Postinor is emergency contraceptive drug, It affect within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse. There is no contraindication for diabetes medicine.
