Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 59 year old female. I went gluten free in 2014, and was able to halve my cholesterol reading by doing that. I have since lost 35 lbs. (I now weigh 135 lbs, what I weighed in High School), and am now taking only 10 mgs of pravastatin, and my cholesterol is just as it should be. I asked about alternatives to the Hydrochlorothiazide I was on for hypertension. I am now on lisunopril (20mg), and it also suggests taking at bedtime. Is it OK to take them at the same time?
