Prednisone belongs to the group of medications known as
corticosteroids or steroids that is used in the treatment of various inflammatory conditions like arthritis,
osteoarthritis, psoriasis, SLE, asthma, allergic reactions, blood disorders, certain cancers and many more.
But if someone stops taking this medication abruptly, then he or she can experience some unpleasant side effects that are known as withdrawal syndrome such as body aches, joint pain,
chest tightness or pain, feelings of burning, numbness or tingling in the arms or feet, anorexia, nausea, fatigue, weakness, headache and many more.
Someone may experience some side effects while he or she is on this medication. Side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache, sweating, dizziness, fatigue, weakness, tiredness, facial hair growth, acnes, changes in appetite, enlargement of breast and tenderness, easily bruising or bleeding, feelings of burning or
tingling sensation in the face, fingers or toes, chest pain, changes in sleep patterns, impaired
wound healing and many more.
These side effects or withdrawal syndrome are usually go away over time after stop taking this medication. But these side effects or withdrawal syndrome persist for long or bother you then you should consult your doctor first for
