Can Prednisone Treat Chronic Mild Swelling In Lower Leg?
Hi, I have always had mild swelling in my lower legs. I am on a low dose of blood pressure meds. Otherwise in good health. I recently was on 6 days of prednisone for inflamed achilles tendon. Question: during the time I was on prednisone my legs did not swell, WHY??

Having prednisolone can lower inflammation and swelling. That's why your feet didn't swell while in prednisolone. The effect may last for a while.
