Can Prilosec And Simethicone Be Taken At The Same Time?

Can I take prilosec and simthicone at the same time? I just started the prilosec today for nausea and have been taking the simethicone after meals to calm my stomach But I think it takes a few days for the prilosec to take effect, so can I take the simethicone after eating along with the prilosec for a few days?

These two medications can be taken together since there is no scientific evidence that some interactions or serious side effects exist. SO if there is medical indication then it can be taken just be sure to take it in recommended dosage. Also, you must be sure that you are not allergic to any ingredient of these drugs. If you start to feel any signs such as breathing difficulties or rash, you should stop medications and see doctor.
