Can Prilosec Or Nexium Be Taken To Reduce Excess Stomach Acid?

I'm currently taking Zantac 75mg 2 pills with every meal to control excess acid. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy that found no cause for this. The GI dr as well as my MD say that's fine. I'm wondering if Prilosec or nexium would work better and be less medication. All my MD said is either one is fine if it works. Do you have any idea what I should try?

Good day and thank you for posting this question. I will suggest you continue with Nexium (Esomeprazole). It has less side effect than zantac or proposed.
If you can get a drug with the combo of Esomeprazole and Naproxen, that would be nice.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
