Can Primolut N Be Taken Long Term For Uterine Bleeding?
I m 42 years old having dysfunctional uterine bleeding and my doc suggested primolut N daily twice a day for a month now after a month my doc told to reduce the prescribed medication to one tablet a day but when reduced it to one tablet a day my bleeding started but it s only in the nights and in the morning as soon as I take my tablet the flow subsides will my uterus be affected is there any other tablet for my bleeding to stop will there is need to remove my uterus because of this please advice
Primolut may not be able to control the bleeding for a long time, get diagnosed & treated. However, presently you are suggested to continue taking your prescribed medications. Visit a gynecologist & get clinically assessed & examined. Get Imaging test & USG done to detect the factor causing the discomfort.
Your treatment will depend upon the severity of the bleeding & pathology detected. Your treating doctor will treat you with medications or recommend surgery. Get treated at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
