Can Primolut-N Be Taken To Terminate Pregnancy?

I just ask if primolut N can help abortion.?I m delayed for 5 days now.. I had sex last sept 20 and 25.. My last period end Sept 01... then until now it s not come...I did already pt last Sept 29 but negative.. and I don t know if I m pregnant until now..

I can understand your concern.

Primolut-N wouldn't help in terminating a pregnancy. It only helps to get periods in a nonpregnant women.

Primolut-N (Norethisterone) contains progesterone. It is a hormone normally produced during pregnancy & helps to maintain pregnancy.

Apart from pregnancy the delayed periods could be due to other causes like stress, emotional disturbances, hormonal imbalance or certain medical illness.

Get an ultrasound scan done to see for intrauterine pregnancy & period of gestation and consult a gynecologist to rule out other causes of delayed period if it is negative.
