Can Provera Be Taken For Delayed Periods?

Hi! I started taking cybelle pills last October 6(4th day of my period),because of my irregular period. This was my 1st month taking pills after taking proverà. I’m taking the pills irregularly. Sometimes I take 2tablets a day.last nov 1 I had unprotected sex and knowing the day before we had sex,I took 2pills. I finished my pills last nov.2, is there any chance that I might get pregnant? I’m expecting my period TIL nov 9, if my period didn’t come, ,can I take proverà?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Since you were not taking pills regularly there is a chance of being pregnant. Don't take Provera if you have any possibility of being pregnant. Provera must not be taken if you are pregnant as hormonal medicines can affect the developing baby.
