Can RF Signals Cause Any Problem To Stents In Heart?

I had four stents fitted in the SSW Heart Hospital, Westmoreland STreet, London in 2007 with great success. I have been invited to visit a high power transmitting station belonging to the national broadcaster with FM and television transmitters. Will the powerful RF signals cause any problems to my stents? The frequencies are 80 -92 MHz FM and the TV frequencies I think are around 400 - 600 MHz . Many thanks.

HI,welcome to HCM.

Radiofrequency signals do not have any impact on the metallic stents which were placed in you as they do not generate any electromagnetic impulses nor they are influenced by them.Only implanted pace makers have strong disturbances in presence of external Rf pulses.Consult your doctor for further queries.
Thank you
