Can Rhineton Be Taken While Having High Blood Pressure?
Have been prescribed RHINETON, but i have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, am diabetic 2, and an incompetent mitral valve. Can i take these tablets safely.... is it true that it makes you itch and feel worse that before..., besides the normal side effects, Which does not sound to good anyway......? What is the correct dosage, and when..? Thank you... Dee ...
With rhinetonDrowsiness, dizziness, constipation, stomach upset, blurred vision, or dry mouth/nose/throat may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
To relieve dry mouth, suck (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water, or use a saliva substitute.
If you are using a sustained-release product, an empty tablet shell may appear in your stool. This is harmless.
DOSAGE SHOULD BE INDIVIDUALIZED ACCORDING TO THE NEEDS AND RESPONSE OF THE PATIENT. Adults and children 12 years or older: One 4 mg RHINETON tablet every 4 to 6 hours, up to a maximum of 24 mg in 24 hours.
ONLY CONTRA-INDICATIONS ARE Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Cross sensitivity to other antihistamines. RHINETON is contra-indicated in patients receiving MAO inhibitor therapy. You can safely use it
