Can Rhinovirus causes chicken pox like rash?It started as a fever of 103 in one kid, next day a rash that ended up covering the entire body and a blistered throat. Then on to the next kid same thing. All 4 of my kids have it now. Nose swab and blood test have only shown Rhinovirus. Dr said its the common cold, but whats with this rash?? Ive never seen this before in any of my kids. HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The rash may be viral exanthem which is a rash that may be associated with a viral illness.

It can occur with the common cold or other viral illness. in most cases the rash resolves with the illness or soon after.

If you are still concerned then you can consider taking him to a dermatologist.

I hope this helps
