Can Ritalin Be Taken To Counteract The Effects Of Antidepressants?

Hi, I was just prescribed Citalopram, Wellbutrin, and Ritalin fro severe depression and anxiety. I also take Xanax as needed for in the moment panic attacks/anxiety. I have some concerns about the Ritalin. The doctor prescribed it to counteract the effects of the antidepressants, which tend to make me numb, lethargic, and unmotivated. While they make me feel better in terms of the depression, they also make me not want to do anything. This is a problem since I am a very active person: i like to run, lift weights,a nd play with my 9-year-old son. Can you tell me what your thoughts are on this cocktail of medications. I trust my doctor, but I m a person that doesn t even take an aspirin for a headache unless I absolutely need to. I am at a point in my life where I am really struggling and am aware now that I have a family history of inherited depression. I am not opposed to medication per say, i just want o be sure this is the right combination.
