Can Robaxacet Extra Strength Be Taken Regularly For Lower Back Pain?
HI My mom has lower back pain. She takes warferin daily and wants to take a robaxacet extra strenght pill. Should i be concerned or i could hold off on the warferin for a night? Or is their another solution?k My email address is YYYY@YYYY
Hi Robaxacet contains acetaminophen and methocarbamol. Acetaminophen can interact with warfarin resulting in increased INR and increased bleeding risk. I would suggest my patient to not exceed 2g/day(4capsules) of acetaminophen to minimise such risks. Apart from this, close monitoring is required and any signs of increased INR must be promptly reported. Interruption of warfarin dose isn't necessary until and unless there is a change in INR. I hope the above information helps you. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Have a nice day.
