Can Rosuvastatin Calcium Tablets Be Taken Before A Bone Scan?

I HAVE A ROUTINE BONE SCAN...FIRST ONE...I AM 54. I TAKE MEDICATIONS...WAS TOLD NOT TO TAKE CALCIUM, ROLAIDS, MULTI VITS THAT MAY HAVE CALCIUM....BUT ONE OF MY DAILY RX PILLS IS ROSUVASTATIN CALCIUM. DO I TAKE IT LIKE I NORMALLY DO IN THE AM...OR DO I SKIP IT TIL AFTER THE BONE SCAN?

hi sir/mam,as rosuvastatin calcium is not any emergency drug and you can skip a day or two without any problem.calcium containing medications are to be avoided before a bone mineral density test.so,you can take rosuvastatin after the test comfortably.hope u got clarified.take care.bye.
